Brian Bolz founded Insight Methods in 2007 as a technology consulting company and has since led its transformation into a national software subscription business focused on education. Beehively provides a rich suite of web services and technology guidance. Through this tool, Insight Methods has introduced a new generation of technology to preschools through high schools. Before Insight Methods, Brian held various leadership positions at MarketTools Inc, a software startup dedicated to market research and technology development. Brian studied Economics and Computer Science at Stanford University, graduating in 1999.
Alison brings to the Beehively team a background in project coordination, previously working at the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation in their educational grants and scholarships department. She handles many administrative and back-office duties, focusing on finance and HR. Alison also has experience as a classroom teacher, and she holds a BA in Biology from UC Berkeley and a California Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, with an emphasis on early childhood education. Alison’s interests outside of work include attending synchronized swimming events with her daughter and exploring the wonderful programs at the UC Davis Mind Institute with her son.
With over eight years of experience as a professional designer, Chirag has knowledge of both mobile applications and responsive design. He holds a Bachelor in Commerce from Gujarat University. Chirag also studied Web design with Arena Multimedia & 3D Animation with Frameboxx. Apart from work, he enjoys movies, photography, shopping and listening to music.
Haley joined Beehively in September 2017. She is from Ojai, Ca but relocated to Davis after completing her Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Occidental College. She enjoys her role as an account representative because it allows her to work with teachers and administrators. In her free time, she likes to be with family and friends. Preferably, at the beach.
Bhushan joined Beehively as a Software Engineer in 2018. Bhushan holds a Masters degree in Computer Applications from Gujarat Technological University. He enjoys working on interesting projects and learning new things. In his free time, Bhushan loves watching movies and listening to music.
Emily joined Beehively in 2014 as the Director of Client Services. She brings 6 years of classroom experience as a teacher and technology services coordinator to the Beehively team. Emily works closely with our clients to ensure that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner. When she is not working, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and young children.
Elizabeth joined Beehively in the Summer of 2016. She is currently pursuing a degree in Creative Writing from Antioch University. Elizabeth has extensive experience in customer service, editing, and content creation. She works on our sales and marketing team to introduce Beehively's product and services to new schools.
Elizabeth also works closely with Beehively clients on their EdTech programs and leads professional development trainings.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys Lindy Hop and Blues dancing.
Katie joined the Bonsai team in January of 2016 and works as the Assistant Manager of Client Services. She moved to Sacramento from Chicago where she studied English at Northeastern University. Katie has extensive experience working in customer service, and loves working with people. During her free time she enjoys cooking, reading and exploring the city.
Parth joined beehively in 2017 as a Quality Analyst. He holds a Masters degree in Computer Applications from Gujarat Technological University. Parth is responsible for software testing & analysis of the Beehively software. Outside of work, he loves travel, photography & playing with computers.
Parth joined Beehively as Sr. Software Engineer. He is truly passionate about his work with a can-do attitude and a strong user focus. Parth has worked in a wide range of projects in different languages and loves to explore new technologies. He holds an MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies and Bachelor of Engineering(Computer Science) from the Gujarat Technological University. He enjoys reading books and staying close to nature.
Cedric joined Beehively in October of 2018 as a Web Account Representative. He brings his years of experience as a customer service representative, quality assurance enforcer, and freelance website designer to the team. Previously, Cedric worked in account management for websites for real estate agents. In his free time, he enjoys writing science fiction, making music, and playing tabletop role-playing games.
Jeff joined Beehively as an Account manager in the fall of 2018. He graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology and has always enjoyed learning more about people and human behavior. At Beehively he brings his love of talking and communicating with clients to ensure a positive working experience. In his free time, he enjoys dancing, playing video games, and building small models of large robots.
Alexus has always been interested in technology. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Computer Science and is excited to be starting her career. At Beehively, she helps to build features that improve customer experiences and make our software as easy to use as possible. In her free time, she enjoys Blues Dancing, winning at video games, and riding horses.
Mayur joined Beehively in December of 2017 as a Sr. Software Engineer. He enjoys using his extensive experience as an engineer to develop software that tackles real-life problems. He works on product development and helps ensure that the Beehively software is always on the cutting edge. Previously, he worked with Tata Consultancy Services as a System Engineer at Mumbai. In his free time, Mayur loves to read and watch web series on youtube.
Niket Patel leads Beehively’s technology practice, making architectural decisions and creating the software development platform. Niket holds a degree from Birla Vishvakarma Engineering College. He enjoys mastering cutting-edge software, solving problems and evaluating solutions from both a technical and business standpoint. Niket is also an active contributor to open-source software. Some of the technologies he currently uses include Ruby, Rails, Sproutcore and CouchDb. Before joining Beehively in January 2008, Niket was the co-founder of NexusNeo Pvt Ltd, a Ruby-based technology-development firm.
Khushboo is a Client Support Representative at Beehively and she works closely on clients requests and acts as a bridge between client and Beehively technical team. She brings experience from IT security services & Solutions as a Sales and marketing representative and also has engaged in client services department. She enjoys her role as client support Representative because it allows her to built trust and strong relationship with clients. She holds a degree in Power Electronics Engineering from Gujarat Technological University. In her spare time, she loves to make an abstract and thread paintings, love to travel and to do creative and innovative things.
Kara joined the Bonsai team in October of 2018 and works as an Account Manager. She graduated from UC Santa Cruz with dual degrees and has worked in client management for more than five years. Kara has considerable experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds to ensure each client receives the best experience possible. In her free time, she enjoys working in her community garden plot and cooking with the fresh veggies she grows.
Viviana joined Beehively Spring of 2018. She provides technology support to clients and helps maintain devices. She enjoys working with the team to ensure that clients get the help they need. She is currently working towards a degree in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis. When she isn’t busy writing papers or programs, she enjoys going to concerts and cooking food.
Eric joined Beehively as a tech in 2016. He is currently working toward a degree in Computer Science while working full time. He loves to help teachers and administrators feel more comfortable with their technology and has a particular passion for coaxing new life into aging technology.
When he is not fiddling with computer parts or working on open source projects, Eric plays guitar and enjoys social dancing.
Chintan Sheth works with Beehively as a user experience designer and leads Beehively web design team. He focuses on transitioning static design mockups into functioning live websites. Chintan enjoys working in a creative team environment and learning new things (even when they are unrelated to work). He truly feels he is one of those few lucky people who are able to do what they love. Chintan graduated from Saurashtra University.
Paul Rathina Singh is the project manager responsible for client website launching, quality and maintenance. He also implements Beehively application improvements. In addition to his technical responsibilities, Paul assists in administrative coordination between teams. Paul earned his degree in Commerce from Gujarat University. He enjoys being involved in outreach programs, church activities, playing keyboard, and learning to play guitar.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Chris joined Bonsai in the fall of 2018. He studied Computer Science at San Francisco State University and has been working with computers for most of his life. In addition, his years of experience in the service industry have given him a great love and respect for working directly with people. In his spare time, Chris enjoys driving, playing games, listening to music, and getting engrossed in a good story.
Mahesh works as an application engineer at Beehively. He loves to explore new tools, technology and frameworks related to programming. Prior to joining Beehively, Mahesh worked for a wide range of organizations, from an early stage startup to giant MNCs. He holds a bachelor of engineering degree from Saurashtra University. If he was not in IT industry, he would have joined the Indian Air Force.
Jax joined Beehively in May of 2014. He graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Computer Science and Engineering with a minor in Technology Management. Jax began working with school technology during high school assisting his district's technology department. Outside of work, he appreciates good bike rides and computers to tinker with.
